Passengers flying in the luxurious United Polaris business class seats now have the opportunity to enjoy a glass or two of Château d’Esclans Whispering Angel Rosé, courtesy of a partnership with United Airlines.
According to Sacha Lichine, the owner of Château d’Esclans, “Whispering Angel played a crucial role in popularizing the Rosé trend and is closely associated with a chic lifestyle. Sharing this exceptional wine with travelers on United Polaris flights as they set off on their journeys is truly exciting for us. We are delighted to introduce this magical taste of Provence to new consumers.”
This new collaboration also extends to the exclusive United airport lounges. Passengers in United Polaris receive special privileges such as priority boarding and in-flight amenities, including lie-flat seats with a memory foam layer and direct aisle access. To enhance the comfort of the journey, business class travelers are provided with luxurious bedding, 16-inch high-definition touch screens, noise-canceling headphones, thoughtful amenity kits, and extra storage space.
The culinary offerings include gourmet cheese platters, premium entrees, a selection of high-quality wines, and a personalized dessert from an ice cream sundae cart.
“United Polaris strives to deliver an exceptional experience, and we are thrilled to be the exclusive U.S. airline serving Whispering Angel Rosé,” stated Aaron McMillan, United’s Managing Director of Hospitality and Planning. “Known as the best-selling French wine in the U.S., we are confident that passengers will be delighted to find this onboard just in time for spring break.”
On average, United serves over 450,000 complimentary glasses of wine every month in United Polaris business class. The addition of Whispering Angel rosé to the complimentary wine selection for business class passengers is expected to further elevate this number.
