Virgin Atlantic is preparing to launch its latest Clubhouse at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) in the first quarter of 2025, pending final approval from the city council. This lounge will be located in the Tom Bradley International Terminal and aims to reflect the airline’s acclaimed service while capturing the lively spirit of Los Angeles, known as the entertainment capital. Passengers heading to London and other destinations will have the chance to enjoy Virgin Atlantic’s high-quality, tailored services just steps from their boarding gates.
“We are thrilled to bring our distinguished Clubhouse to the energetic city of Los Angeles, allowing both business and leisure travelers to enjoy our offerings before embarking on their transatlantic flights,” remarked Corneel Koster, Chief Customer & Operating Officer of Virgin Atlantic. The new facility will include a large bar and social area, featuring table service dining and private areas like ‘The Royal Box’. Guests can expect versatile seating designed for working, dining, and social interaction. Similar to the popular Clubhouse at London Heathrow, this location will have a cocktail bar run by expert mixologists, offering signature cocktails like the Virgin Redhead.
“Our future Clubhouse is certain to captivate every visitor with its signature dishes, British design elements, and exciting surprises characteristic of Virgin Atlantic. Our outstanding team is committed to delivering this experience with style,” Koster added. Guests will also have the opportunity to refresh themselves before their flights with shower facilities and changing rooms. The lounge’s design will celebrate the City of Angels, incorporating local art and ambient lighting to evoke the feel of a California sunset. It will feature private pods for quiet phone calls, and a range of charging options including power outlets and wireless stations, as well as Bluetooth capabilities.
Open every day, the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse at LAX will be available to travelers who meet certain requirements. These include customers flying in Upper Class on Virgin Atlantic flights, Virgin Atlantic Flying Club Gold Card members, Delta One passengers on international Delta Air Lines flights, SkyTeam Elite Plus members traveling on Virgin Atlantic or Delta, and travelers with domestic connections on the same day within a single itinerary and ticket.
