Under Canvas, a prominent figure in outdoor hospitality with nine venues across the U.S, has just disclosed its partnership with Crystal Mountain Resort to introduce Crystal Sky Camp. Opening its doors in July 2021, Crystal Sky Camp will be perched at an elevation of 6,000 feet in the vicinity of Mount Rainier on National Forest Service territory. Accessible solely via chairlift, this camp promises a deluxe mountaintop sojourn.
Tailored to accommodate group escapades of all kinds, the camp boasts 20 tents inspired by safaris, able to house up to 40-50 guests. Embracing sweeping vistas of the charming mountain scenery in Washington State, Crystal Sky Camp is fashioned to offer guests an immersive mountaintop encounter with the opulence of a top-notch resort.
David DiFalco, Under Canvas’ Chief Operating Officer, expressed excitement about the collaboration, stating: “We are delighted to join forces with Crystal Mountain to bring forth this exclusive alpine escapade retreat. In a time where many seek to reconnect – whether corporate groups, weddings, or reunions – Crystal Sky Camp stands as the perfect haven for a memorable outdoor retreat.”
Characterized by one of the most distinctive and thrilling arrivals, the camp can only be reached through two exhilarating chairlift rides. Crafted for group reservations and gatherings – ideal for weddings, retreats, and various social events – guests can bask in nature’s lap while nestled in Safari-style canvas accommodations. These exclusive tents from Under Canvas offer king-sized beds with lavish linens, wooden floors with rug embellishments, both outdoor and indoor seating options, wood-burning stoves, and high-speed Wi-Fi connectivity.
Equipped with all the comforts and amenities of a luxury all-inclusive resort in an unconventional locale, guests can relish perks like daily housekeeping, meals, beverages, transportation to and from the base site, indoor and outdoor camp activities, and access to the camp’s personal powerful telescope. Furthermore, guests will have a designated Camp Concierge and assistance staff, along with exclusive usage of Crystal Mountain’s contemporary Campbell Basin Lodge. Optional upgrades are available for those seeking to heighten their experience with an array of adventure activities.
Adam Sutner, Crystal Mountain’s Vice President of Business Development, commended the blend of Crystal Mountain’s scenic grandeur and Under Canvas’ expertise in fostering guests’ connection with nature, describing it as a vibrant and unique adventure for a select few.
Specifically crafted to unite groups in an exceptional manner, visitors can savor a fully curated and personalized experience by seizing the opportunity to reserve the on-mountain site. The debut season for Crystal Sky Camp is scheduled from July 1 to September 31, 2021, and will recur seasonally for three years.
