The Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay is reintroducing its famous Global Cuisine Series, overseen by Executive Chef Roberto Riveros-Leyton and Navio Chef de Cuisine Francisco Simon, featuring Michelin-starred chefs from around the globe.
The 2023 Global Cuisine Series, led by Navio’s Chef de Cuisine Francisco Simón, collaborates with guest chefs to create exclusive dinner and brunch menus at Navio, the resort’s upscale restaurant.
Kicking off the series is Chef Miguel Navarro from Es Fum at St. Regis Mardavall Resort in Mallorca. From February 2–5, 2023, Chef Navarro will showcase his Mediterranean-style cuisine, drawing inspiration from Half Moon Bay’s abundant aquaculture and nearby farms.
Chef Roberto expressed excitement about the collaboration, highlighting the blend of California flavors, Spanish and Mediterranean influences, and modern techniques using local ingredients. The chefs’ shared passion for crafting exceptional meals in a luxurious setting like Navio promises unique dining experiences.
Guests can reserve their spot at Navio from February 2-5, 2023, to indulge in the collaborative menu. The seven-course Chef’s Tasting Menu for dinner and weekend brunch will feature three dishes from the guest chef, priced at $249 per guest.
Future guest chefs in the 2023 series include Chef Rachel Haggstrom of The Restaurant at JUSTIN Vineyards & Winery, Chef Paco Perez of Enoteca, and Chef Pepe Moncayo of Cranes. Each chef will bring their culinary expertise to Navio for an unforgettable dining experience.
