TAG Heuer has released a unique edition of the Carrera chronograph featuring a luxurious gold case and a distinctive dial inspired by the iconic Heuer reference 1158 CHN. This special model also pays homage to the classic John Player Special livery from Formula 1 during the 1970s and 1980s with its two-tone color scheme.
The new TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph comes in a 42mm yellow gold case complemented by matching gold pushers and crown. The elegant black sunray brushed dial is enhanced by prominent gilded dial elements, particularly the two gilded gold chronograph sub-dials at 3 o’clock and 9 o’clock. The hands and indexes are also plated in matching yellow gold, adding to the watch’s retro luxury aesthetic.
Featuring a transparent sapphire case back, the watch showcases the Calibre Heuer 02 movement, which is adorned with a customized black oscillating mass. The movement, equipped with a vertical clutch and column wheel, offers an impressive power reserve of eighty hours. Completing the look, TAG Heuer pairs the gold timepiece with a black alligator strap secured by a gold pin buckle.
Price: $21,500.
