Saybrook Point Resort & Marina Offers Stunning Waterfront Views

No matter the season, a waterfront escape in New England is always special. It becomes truly exceptional when paired with upscale accommodations and sea-to-table dining, which is exactly what Saybrook Point Resort & Marina provides.

Nestled at the convergence of the Connecticut River and the Long Island Sound, this boutique hotel boasts just 80 guest rooms in the main building, ensuring personalized service. From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive restaurant staff, every team member is dedicated to ensuring a fantastic stay.

During our visit, we enjoyed the pet-friendly Stoney Creek Suite, featuring a beautiful one-bedroom layout with a plush European pillow-top king bed and a separate living area complete with a wood-burning fireplace. The suite even offers sliders opening up to breathtaking views of the marina, allowing guests to witness stunning sunrises and sunsets right from their room.

Apart from the main hotel, Saybrook Point Resort & Marina also offers two charming Italianate guesthouses known as Three Stories and Tall Tales. Three Stories boasts eight bedrooms and shared spaces like a kitchen, TV lounge, game room, and rooftop deck. On the other hand, Tall Tales features six bedrooms, a dining room, kitchen, and a game room with billiards, as well as a backyard bocce court.

For longer stays, guests can opt for the two-story Villas with two bedrooms and two full bathrooms or the three-bedroom South Cove Cottage, designed for up to six guests.

For a truly unforgettable experience, consider booking the Lighthouse Suite, an exclusive accommodation at the end of the marina dock offering panoramic views of the Long Island Sound and the Connecticut River. The suite includes a living room, dining area, kitchenette, bedroom, full bathroom, and a private balcony perfect for enjoying morning coffee or evening drinks.

A visit to Saybrook Point Resort & Marina wouldn’t be complete without dining at Fresh Salt, the on-site restaurant known for its exceptional sea-to-table cuisine. Whether dining al fresco in the warmer months or cozying up by the indoor fireplace in winter, Fresh Salt offers a delightful culinary experience. From creative breakfast options to mouthwatering lunch and dinner dishes, every meal is a treat for the taste buds.

To unwind, guests can visit The Spa for a range of luxurious treatments, including massages, body scrubs, facials, and more. The Detox Deep Tissue Massage, in particular, is highly recommended for relaxation and rejuvenation.
