Norse Atlantic Airways initiated its first flight from Oslo to New York on June 14, 2022, and has since broadened its offerings to include nonstop flights from Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York, Orlando, and Miami to various European destinations. This low-cost, long-haul airline operates a fleet consisting exclusively of 15 Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, which facilitate travel to six locations in Europe, alongside Cape Town International Airport and Bangkok Airport. The airline’s commitment to the Boeing 787 entails promoting features like reduced CO2 emissions, a quieter flying experience, modern LED lighting, and improved humidity levels compared to older aircraft models.
Promoting affordable long-haul travel for everyone, “The Explorer’s Airline” presents two classes: Premium and Economy. Customers can customize their travel experience by selecting from three fare options – Light, Classic, and Flextra. The Light fare serves as the economical choice, while the Flextra fare offers additional perks, including maximum baggage allowance, two meal services, premium experiences both at the airport and onboard, along with improved flexibility regarding ticket changes. Beginning in September 2024, all economy light bookings will come with a 22-pound carry-on bag in addition to the personal under-seat item.
The Premium cabin features a seat pitch of 43 inches and a recline of 12 inches, ensuring that guests arrive at their destination feeling rejuvenated. Each aircraft is equipped with 56 spacious Premium seats that provide priority check-in, premium boarding, complimentary meals and beverages, as well as entertainment choices.
