Buellton, a charming town in the Santa Ynez Valley, has recently gained attention as a vacation spot with the opening of Zaca Creek. This small town, known for Pea Soup Andersen’s restaurant and as a backdrop for the movie “Sideways,” now offers the allure of Zaca Creek.
The property, originally built by the Buell family, has been transformed into a quaint English countryside inn and tavern. Featuring six distinct suites with rustic charm, modern amenities, and scenic views, Zaca Creek combines old-world design with contemporary comfort.
The highlight of the experience is The Tavern, a dining destination curated by Executive Chef Cullen Campbell. The menu showcases a diverse selection of dishes sourced from local purveyors, ranging from burgers and steaks to organic produce and fresh seafood. Campbell’s innovative twists on classic dishes make every bite a delight.
The Tavern’s cocktail program complements the dining experience, offering a range of spirits and wines to complement the flavorful menu. The venue also caters to weddings and large groups, with plans for a bio-lagoon and outdoor event spaces to accommodate up to 200 guests.
