Who doesn’t love retro cars that have been brought lovingly into the 21st century? We know we do here at The Status Life and this fantastic RT-ONE build from New Legend 4×4 is both adventure ready to the max and one of the coolest looking machines we’ve seen in a long time.
The 1976 Scout Terra from New Legend 4×4 is, lamentably if you like what you see, already sold, and it is a one-of-a-kind vehicle that is ideally suited for all your off-road adventures. It is the first Retro Series Terra that New Legend has ever built, and it boasts the New Legend Adventure Package. The build philosophy of New Legend is to use “real steel” as much as possible, and this is evident in the custom extended steel Terra top that was fabricated in house. This top gives the build its name, the “Terra XL.”
Another exciting feature of this build is that it is the first “overland kitted” Scout that New Legend has ever created. This means that it comes with a variety of accessories that make it perfect for off-road adventures, such as a Leitner rear-roof rack system, KC light bar, bed tray system, Anything Scout Workman bumpers, and more.
The 1976 Scout Terra is powered by a 304 cubic inch V8 engine that produces 225 horsepower and 285 lb-ft of torque. It is paired with a four-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case. The Scout Terra has a four-wheel independent suspension and four-wheel disc brakes.
The Scout Terra is a true off-road beast. It has a ground clearance of 12 inches and a water fording depth of 30 inches. It can tow up to 3,000 pounds and has a payload capacity of 1,500 pounds. If you are looking for a unique and capable vehicle for your next adventure, the 1976 Scout Terra is the perfect choice.
