When envisioning a contemporary luxury ship, the outline typically appears sleek and sharp, inspired by the design aesthetics of top supercars and hypercars in the automotive industry. However, Lynx Yachts takes a unique approach with the Avontuur, a substantial vessel classified under the Dutch shipyard’s Crossover 27 series.
Many observers liken the Avontuur to an SUV due to its robust profile, but this vessel is far from lacking in high-end features and functionalities. Measuring at 90 feet, this superyacht caters to owners seeking excitement on every voyage.
The name “Avontuur” translates to “adventure” in Dutch, emphasizing the spirit of exploration embodied by this craft. Just like any top-tier watercraft, nearly every aspect of the Avontuur can be customized, provided it does not compromise safety or performance.
The bespoke configuration of the Avontuur enables it to accommodate a variety of water toys and tenders. The standard layout by Lynx Yachts includes an owner’s cabin, a VIP cabin, two twin-sharing cabins, and crew quarters.
However, at the client’s request, modifications were made to feature three guest cabins and revamped crew quarters. The 754 square feet of space on the main deck now allows for a 16-foot RIB and an Air Nautique G23.
Additionally, the sundeck can now accommodate two Jet-Skis, two Waverunners, and a crane for smooth deployment into the waters below. With a cruising speed of 12.5 knots and a maximum speed of 14 knots, the Avontuur promises a thrilling and luxurious sailing experience.
