BMW is aiming for the current trend by introducing the R 18 Classic, a vintage-style version of the R 18 motorcycle originally released by the German brand in March.
This nostalgic touring motorcycle comes equipped with a larger windscreen, passenger seat, additional LED headlights, cruise control, a 16-inch front wheel, and a new exhaust system designed to accommodate saddlebags.
The vintage bike is powered by the same impressive 1.8-liter boxer engine, known as the “Big Boxer,” which produces 67 kW (91 hp) at 4,750 rpm.
BMW Motorrad is also launching a new customization program in collaboration with prominent suppliers like Roland Sands, Mustang, and Vance & Hines.
BMW has not yet disclosed the pricing or release date for the BMW R 18 Classic. More details may be revealed soon, so watch this space for updates.
