While owning a Ferrari 365 GTC may be out of reach for many of us, there’s no harm in admiring one of the most luxurious classic cars available, such as the Ferrari 365 GTC offered by German car specialists, Schaltkulisse.
Introduced in 1968 as a successor to the 330 GTC, the 365 GTC was a groundbreaking model. It featured an upgraded engine displacement, a balanced 50/50 weight distribution, and notably, the first-ever independent suspension system in a road-going Ferrari. Performance-wise, it was impressive for its time, achieving 0-100 kph in approximately 6.3 seconds and a top speed of 243 kph. With only 168 units produced, the 365 GTC is twice as rare as a 250 Lusso, making it highly sought after.
This specific Ferrari 365 GTC from Schaltkulisse was finalized in March 1969 and originally delivered to its first owner, Rocco Jenna from Torino, Italy. The car, painted in Argento with a Pelle Nera interior, underwent a meticulous restoration by Schaltkulisse’s Engineering department in 2022, surpassing 35,000 Euros in expenses. The restoration included replacing rubber bearings, overhauling the suspension and braking systems, cleaning and adjusting the carburettors, and performing a comprehensive service, resulting in an impeccable condition.
Due to its exceptional rarity, exquisite aesthetics, and enjoyable driving experience, the Ferrari 365 GTC is considered a good value among classic Ferraris, albeit still requiring a substantial investment.
