The 330 GTC, unveiled in Geneva two years after the 330 GT 2+2, bridged the comfort of the 330 GT 2+2 with the performance of the 275 GTB.
The design of the Ferrari 330 GTC reflects features from its predecessors, such as the 330’s tail from the 275 GTS and front-end styling reminiscent of the limited-production 500 Superfast. With a shorter wheelbase, the 330 GTC traded rear seats for a luggage shelf. Similar to the elegant 250 GT Lusso, the 330 GTC boasts thin A- and B-pillars, creating a spacious cabin with excellent visibility. Production of the 330 GTC totaled 598 units.
After three decades of cherished ownership, the original owner sold the 330 GTC to a respected Ferrari collector in Utah, continuing the legacy of meticulous care. Invoices document over $6,000 spent on cosmetic enhancements and $15,000 invested in acquiring and installing an authentic Ferrari air conditioning system. Complemented by power windows, luxurious leather upholstery, a Talbot mirror, and a Becker Europa radio, these upgrades add to the car’s grand touring appeal.
Acquired by Mr. Ponder in late 2018, this exquisite Ferrari from RM Sotheby’s has been sparingly driven and admired among his collection of European automobiles. Today, this beloved 330 GTC represents a blend of beauty and function, showcasing Ferrari’s elegance in midcentury grand touring sports cars.
