With a time-only movement, glossy gilt dial, and matching gilt handset, the Rolex Submariner 6536 exudes a vintage charm. This model is the ‘small-crown’ version of the iconic Submariner 6538 worn by Sean Connery as James Bond. Production of the ref. 6536 was short-lived, making it a rare and valuable piece for vintage Rolex collectors.

Rolex Triple Calendar Chronograph Ref. 4768

The Rolex Daytona collection is known for its chronograph watches, but Rolex had been producing them for decades before the Daytona’s debut in 1963. The ref. 4768, launched in 1947, is Rolex’s first antimagnetic triple calendar chronograph wristwatch, nicknamed ‘Data Compax’ by collectors. This rare model features a stainless steel and yellow gold construction with a unique round case and teardrop lugs.

The ref. 4768 is a testament to Rolex’s early history, offering a distinct aesthetic from their current lineup.

Rolex ‘Paul Newman’ Daytona Ref. 6241

The Rolex Daytona, launched in 1963, is an iconic luxury watch and is most famous for its ‘Paul Newman’ dials. These dials are highly collectible, with a Paul Newman Daytona being the most expensive Rolex ever sold. The ref. 6241, from around 1970, features the original ‘reverse panda’ Paul Newman dial with a black surface, white chronograph registers, and a white minute track accented with red details.

This tri-color vintage Paul Newman Daytona is a prized addition for any serious collector. This particular watch comes with a fascinating backstory, having been found in a thrift store couch in Canada.
