Guests on a Disney Cruise arriving at Lookout Cay, Lighthouse Point, will be struck by the stunningly clear blue waters encircling the island.

Nestled on the lovely island of Eleuthera, visitors can take a relaxed half-mile stroll from the ship to the entrance of Lookout Cay, with golf carts on hand for those who need assistance getting around.

Upon reaching the tram terminal, Disney crew members greet guests with cold towels, and there is a spot to refill reusable water bottles or pick up a refreshing drink.

The pier leading to the tram terminal and harbor at Lookout Cay has been thoughtfully designed to reduce environmental impact by eliminating the need for dredging a shipping channel. This initiative emphasizes conservation to protect marine life, coral reefs, and water flow during construction.

While wandering along the pier, guests may catch glimpses of schools of fish swimming in the crystal-clear water. Edwin Symonette, a Bahamian environmentalist, underscored the initiatives taken to safeguard marine life and coral reefs, including placing Fish Castles under the pier to foster marine growth.

Disney is dedicated to environmental stewardship, ensuring the preservation of Eleuthera’s natural beauty for both guests and the local community.

Disney joined forces with Bahamian artists, historians, and cultural experts to enliven the undeveloped area of Lookout Cay, showcasing Bahamian culture and architecture while honoring the natural environment.

Travelers riding the tram to explore the island will encounter a rock sculpture that features native creatures along with entertaining narrations from characters like Sandy Crab and Lizzie the Curled Tail Lizard.
