The Garza Blanca Preserve comprises seven buildings, with two towers dedicated solely to Hotel Mousai. Located just a brief 30-minute drive from the Puerto Vallarta airport, we recently had the chance to experience this exceptional resort.
Upon arrival, we were immediately captivated by the hotel’s striking aesthetics and design—modern and innovative yet welcoming and cozy. The lobby features bold, color-blocked furnishings, marble floors, life-sized chess pieces, and elegant gold accents, all opening up to breathtaking ocean views.
The property consists of two towers: The North and South, each offering rooms with either ocean or jungle views, walk-in rain showers, Smart Toto bidet toilets, complimentary Wi-Fi, private terraces with jacuzzis, outdoor lounge chairs, and spacious hammocks on the patios.
Additional amenities include electric curtains, iPad-controlled lighting, a work desk, and a travel chest housing a minibar, fridge, and Nespresso coffee maker. During our stay, we chose a sophisticated 1,069-square-feet suite in the North Tower, exuding chic and modern vibes with unique art pieces and imaginative details that give it a distinct personality.
The en-suite bathroom, separated by a mirrored wall, boasts a moon mirror with LEDs, a Venetian chocolate litmus with quartz plates rain shower, and an automated Toto comfort toilet. Each room also features its own iPad for ordering room service, making spa reservations, contacting the concierge, adjusting lights, or closing blinds.
Hotel Mousai offers four on-site restaurants accessible to Garza Blanca guests as well, with priority reservations for Mousai guests. The dining options uphold high standards ensuring guests encounter top-quality ingredients and unique flavor combinations that leave them yearning for more. Noteworthy is Hiroshi, an elegant Japanese restaurant with a stunning ocean view and open exclusively for dinner.
