iW Magazine, a content partner of The Status Life, highlights Zenith’s newest additions to its Defy Skyline collection. The collection now includes three stylish Ice Blue models, available in both 41mm and 36mm sizes. These models continue to showcase the Defy Skyline’s modern and angular steel case with a dodecagonal bezel, an iconic design that Zenith introduced in 1969. Unlike previous releases, these new models feature a summer-ready icy blue metallic color dial engraved with the Skyline’s four-pointed star pattern. The date wheels on these models are also color-matched to the dials. Zenith is offering one 41mm model and two 36mm models, with one of the smaller models adorned with a diamond bezel.

Zenith also introduces a new comprehensive strap service on its online boutique, allowing customers to browse and purchase compatible straps. Although the service is currently available in Europe, customers in North America and Japan will be able to utilize it in September.

The 41mm model is equipped with Zenith’s El Primero 3620 automatic high-frequency caliber, featuring a unique 1/10th-of-a-second indicator driven directly from the escapement. This model also boasts a power reserve of sixty hours. On the other hand, the two smaller models are powered by Zenith’s Elite 670 automatic manufacture movement, which provides a power reserve of fifty hours. Each model features a star-shaped oscillating weight that can be admired through a sapphire display back.

Zenith provides each watch in the Defy Skyline Ice Blue Boutique Edition with a steel bracelet finished with a satin-brushed surface and polished edges. Additionally, each watch comes with an ‘Ice Blue’ rubber strap adorned with a starry sky pattern and a steel folding clasp. Swapping straps is made easy with Zenith’s quick strap-change mechanism, which does not require any tools.

While the 41mm model is exclusively available on the Zenith online boutique, both 36mm models can be purchased from both physical and online boutiques. Prices for the collection range from $8,500 to $12,000, depending on the model and the inclusion of diamonds.
