Culinary Excellence Meets Hollywood Glamour At Spago Beverly Hills

Some restaurants are simply places to eat, while others craft a legend. Spago Beverly Hills, the pinnacle of Wolfgang Puck’s culinary endeavors, undoubtedly falls into the latter category—a destination where celebrity status, outstanding service, and culinary creativity intersect in the heart of 90210.

For over forty years, Spago has epitomized California fine dining, having originally opened on the Sunset Strip in 1982 before relocating to its current location on Canon Drive in 1997. The restaurant, designed by Barbara Lazaroff, Puck’s co-founder at the original Spago, beautifully merges timeless sophistication with the easygoing style of Los Angeles. The walls, adorned with celebrity photographs, are complemented by warm wooden accents and glass features, enhanced by striking lighting. Diners can choose between two equally captivating environments: the sleek main dining area or the covered patio.

Flanked by twin fireplaces that cast a welcoming glow and decorated with twinkling trees, the patio transforms into a magical, secret garden that remains hidden in plain sight. How guests are assigned to either space is a bit of a mystery—maybe it’s based on choice or simply chance—but both settings provide their own distinct flavor of the Spago experience: chic, cinematic, and wrapped in understated luxury.
