I recently had an early sneak peek at the 2025 Cadillac CT5 at the Detroit Auto Show, and I’m pleased to report that the upcoming sedan represents a daring and stylish upgrade from its predecessor, maintaining Cadillac’s tradition of redefining American luxury. It’s refreshing to witness this iconic brand’s commitment to enhancing this modern sport sedan in a market dominated by SUVs.

John Roth, vice president of Global Cadillac, emphasized the significance of the CT5 in Cadillac’s lineup, stating, “CT5’s importance in Cadillac’s portfolio cannot be overstated.” He also noted that globally, CT5 is experiencing its best sales year ever. The 2025 CT5 remains faithful to what customers appreciate about this vehicle, while introducing a refreshed appearance and the latest technology and safety features.

The 2025 CT5 boasts a new front fascia and an expanded range of standard comfort, safety, and technology features, including a 33-inch-diagonal LED color touchscreen display. The redesigned front-end design complements its fastback profile, incorporating a lower and wider front grille, updated signature vertical lighting, and stacked LED headlamps. Additionally, it comes with newly included features such as Blind Zone Steering Assist, Intersection Automatic Emergency Braking, and Google built-in compatibility.

The new 33-inch-diagonal LED color touchscreen display offers a 9K resolution and a customizable user interface, elevating the driver’s personal connection in a sedan known for its driving experience, comfort, and technology.

Stay tuned for The Status Life’s road test report for details on the CT5 driving experience, including a comparison of the 2.0L Turbo engine and the optional 3.0L Twin-Turbo engine, as well as the new tech, rear-wheel drive dynamics, and On Star media option.

Production of the 2025 Cadillac CT5 commences this spring at GM’s Lansing Grand River Assembly facility in Michigan. Pricing details will be announced soon.
