This season, the well-known luxury car manufacturer Bentley is revamping its Continental GT lineup with fresh updates. The enhancements include “an expanded range of exterior paint choices such as Viridian, Patina, and Snow Quartz, a redesigned steering wheel, and the option for a panoramic glass roof on the V8-powered GT coupe as well as the W12.”
Customers opting for the Viridian hue will enjoy a contemporary blend of the classic British Racing Green and the deep emerald metallic from Bentley’s EXP10 Speed 6 concept car. This blend creates a rich agate green tone with hints of light green and blue undertones, complemented by subtle flecks of amber and gold. The Patina color draws inspiration from polished metals and mixes champagne and silk to produce a creamy mid-tone with subtle hints of green. Snow Quartz, on the other hand, is a three-layer pearlescent paint providing a clean and refreshing look.
The newly introduced panoramic glass roof is now available on all Continental GT coupes, including the Bentayga and Flying Spur models. Designed to offer “a fresh perspective while showcasing the exquisite craftsmanship inside the cabin,” this sunroof is fitted with polarized glass to reduce glare, providing a clear view of the surroundings. Moreover, it features an interior blind that can be conveniently controlled from the console to offer shade when needed (the blind is even covered in Alcantara® to match one of the 15 headliner colors available).
The updated steering wheel is now a standard feature boasting a revised shape and profile. With capacitive sensing technology integrated throughout the wheel rim, the steering wheel can detect when it is being held – an essential safety feature for the car’s semi-autonomous Driver Assistance Systems. New regulations dictate that drivers must maintain contact with the wheel while the vehicle is in motion.
With these new elements, customers have more than 10 billion customization options available to personalize their vehicles, making it easier than ever to create a distinct Bentley that reflects their unique style.
