Currently, Tesla is facing competition from Lucid Motors, Fisker partnered with Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., Ltd (Foxconn) for a new EV, and Porsche is enjoying the success of its Taycan lineup. Aptera Motors is now preparing to introduce its Paradigm, joining the race.
The Paradigm, set to launch in late 2021, is a unique three-wheel two-seater vehicle that stands out for its solar-electric setup. Aptera Motors claims it can surpass other EVs with an impressive 1,000-mile range.
Unlike traditional electric cars, the Paradigm can also harness solar power, allowing it to travel up to 46 miles solely on solar energy in a day.
With the completion of the Series A funding round, securing $4 million for the Paradigm project, Aptera Motors is also garnering support from crowd funders, investors, and automotive industry leaders.
The company has received over 7,000 reservations for the emission-free Paradigm, known not only for its exceptional range but also for its futuristic and appealing design.
Aptera Motors engineers are utilizing a structure composed of four main components, drawing inspiration from Formula-1 safety technologies, along with energy-absorbing materials and airbags to ensure the safety of the driver and passenger.
Stay tuned for more updates on the Paradigm from Aptera Motors.
