By taking a step towards all-electric models, the renowned British carmaker, Aston Martin, has revealed its final gasoline-powered vehicle – the V12 Vantage. The V12 Vantage has played a significant role in the brand’s history and commitment to high performance since its debut fifteen years ago. As this distinctive lineage approaches its end, Aston Martin has introduced the most potent Vantage model to date!

CEO of Aston Martin, Tobias Moers, shared his thoughts on the V12 Vantage: “Every top sportscar brand has a flagship model. For Aston Martin, in recent times, that model has been the V12 Vantage. Since the unveiling of the first V12 Vantage RS Concept in 2007, our customers and fans worldwide have been captivated by the concept of putting our most powerful engine into our smallest and most sporty model.”

Delivering 700PS at 6500 rpm and 753Nm of torque starting from 1800rpm to 6000rpm, the quad-cam 60-degree 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12 engine offers a thrilling blend of robust low and mid-range power along with exhilarating high-end performance. With a top speed of 200mph, the V12 Vantage can accelerate from 0-100 kph in just 3.4 seconds. Additionally, this powerhouse will house the largest engine in the smallest model in the lineup.

“The recipe has been honed over the years with great success, but the essence has remained unchanged. Now, it is time to conclude this bloodline, showcasing the most exceptional example yet – the swiftest, most potent, and most dynamically capable V12 Vantage ever. Serving as a tribute to its predecessors and reflecting Aston Martin’s intensified focus on driving dynamics, it ensures the V12 Vantage exits on a remarkable high,” Tobias Moers remarked.

While the V12 Vantage may look similar to its predecessors, it incorporates updated weight-saving measures such as a carbon fiber front bumper, clamshell bonnet, front fenders, side sills, composite rear bumper, deck lid, and a unique center-mounted twin-exit exhaust system. As a result, the V12 Vantage is around 40mm wider and features 21-inch alloy wheels to accommodate a wide-track chassis optimized for improved cornering performance and stability. The rear of the Vantage boasts a new bumper with an integrated diffuser that maintains aerodynamic equilibrium from front to back. This generates 204kg of downforce at top speed, which complements its performance along with the standard Carbon Ceramic Braking (CCB) system.

The V12 Vantage offers Woven leather or Alcantara seat inserts and trim inlays for the interiors. The anodized rotary dials in the center console can be color-matched or contrast with the exterior or a vibrant color, offering a subtle burst of color inside the cabin. Retaining the layout of the current Vantage, it replaces the halo setup with a Sports Plus Seat featuring ‘Wings’ in a quilted and perforated pattern. The new carbon fiber performance seat with 6-way manual adjustment is designed to provide supportive seating for enhanced driving dynamics and a distinctive design – a patented design by Aston Martin.

Marco Mattiacci, Aston Martin Global Chief Brand and Commercial Officer, expressed: “At Aston Martin, we manufacture cars, but we sell dreams. That’s the magic of this brand. Despite being available to only a select few customers worldwide, the V12 Vantage, like all our legendary models, holds significance beyond its exclusivity. Moreover, with the extensive bespoke customization offered through Q by Aston Martin, even a rare car like the V12 Vantage can be tailored to a specification entirely unique to its owner.”

Just like every Vantage model, the 2022 V12 Vantage can be tailored individually through the brand’s personalized service, Q by Aston Martin. Limited to only 333 units worldwide, production has already been maxed out due to overwhelming demand, and reservations are no longer being accepted. Deliveries are scheduled to commence in the second quarter of 2022.
