The 1975 Lamborghini Countach LP400 Periscopio is currently up for sale, and it is a remarkable vehicle that showcases the excellence of cars produced in the 1970s, particularly by Lamborghini. This specific model, available for bidding on Bring A Trailer, has already received a bid of $750k, so potential buyers need to be ready to spend big to make it their own.

This specific Lamborghini has undergone a thorough restoration by Bobileff Motorcar Company, meeting a high standard that is sure to attract attention wherever it goes. Only about 150 Periscopio examples were built within the first four years of the Countach model’s production. The chassis 1120220 was initially sent to Japan in the late 1970s, then upgraded to resemble an LP400S Series II Countach before being brought to the US in the early 1980s.

During the restoration process, significant enhancements were made to this striking Lamborghini, including the addition of a periscope-style roof and flareless fenders, a fresh coat of eye-catching Tahiti Blue paint, reupholstering the interior in tan leather, and the refurbishment of mechanical components like the powerful 3.9-liter quad-cam V12 engine. The vehicle also boasts six Weber 45 DCOE carburetors, a twin-coil ignition system, a five-speed manual transmission, a limited-slip differential, advanced suspension, ventilated disc brakes, stylish alloy wheels, and air conditioning.

This outstanding 1975 Lamborghini Countach LP400 Periscopio, currently attracting bids on Bring A Trailer, has already proven its class by winning an award at the 2019 Las Vegas Concours d’Elegance. Its unique design features, such as the wedge-shaped profile, pop-up headlights, scissor doors, and periscope-style angular roof, make it a true head-turner. The interior is equally impressive, adorned with tan leather, a gated shifter, air conditioning, and other luxurious details.

For enthusiasts of vintage cool cars willing to spend close to $1 million, this Lamborghini is an irresistible choice. Make sure to check out Bring A Trailer for more details and bidding information.
