Recently unveiled at a star-studded 50th-anniversary event by W Magazine in New York, the all-new 2023 Lexus RX showcased its Ruby Red Rims. Drawing inspiration from Dorothy’s ruby slippers in “The Wizard of Oz,” renowned fashion designer Harris Reed collaborated with Lexus to create the most remarkable and alluring red rims in the automotive industry.
The all-new 2023 Lexus RX stands out from other cars with its gloss-sealed glittery polished ruby red Lexus logo, LED lights, and dazzling Ruby Red Rims. The bold redesign of the all-new 2023 Lexus RX by the automaker is an extension of the vehicle’s launch campaign to maintain its edge.
What if, in “The Wizard of Oz,” Dorothy had chosen to veer off the yellow brick road and take the less-traveled path? Reed and Lexus encourage drivers to explore new routes. “As a gender-fluid designer, I’ve always been driven and inspired by opting for the less-traveled path,” mentioned Reed. “With the bold new design of the Lexus RX and the iconic Hollywood classic, ‘The Wizard of Oz,’ I drew inspiration from the literal interpretation of choosing your own path and embarking on a new journey down the red brick road, paying homage to the film’s iconic ruby slippers and my own designs.”
The backs of the rims are crafted from solid aluminum with gloss-sealed glitter. In the center, you’ll find the ruby core and Lexus logo, encased in a polished ruby red shade and illuminated by LED lights, giving them a captivating appearance.
