The 1965 Jaguar XKSS Re-Creation by Lynx from Bring A Trailer has just 9k on the clock and comes with a Ecurie Ecosse Blue Metallic Paint with black leather interiors. It was reportedly built by Lynx Motors as a short-nose D-Type replica in 1978 before being converted to one of the company’s 16 XKSS re-creations two years later.

This breathtaking 1965 Jaguar XKSS Re-Creation by Lynx boasts a handmade aluminium monocoque tub and body panels alongside a square-tube engine frame with a 4.2-litre DOHC inline-six engine that was reportedly sourced from a Series 1 Jaguar XKE. Other incorporated features include triple Weber 45 DCOE carburettors, Wilwood brakes, XKE-based suspension, a soft top, and black leather upholstery.
Amazing to look at and a pleasure to drive, the 1965 Jaguar XKSS Re-Creation by Lynx from Bring A Trailer (current bid $200k) has riveted aluminium body panels which are finished off in Ecurie Ecosse Blue metallic paint. Some of the more striking exterior details include XKSS-style polished aluminium bumpers, a luggage rack, a stainless steel side exhaust heat shield, leather bonnet straps, and a Monza-style fuel filler cap.
The cockpit is devilishly dapper to say the least and comes trimmed in black leather over the seats and transmission tunnel, with matching carpets covering the footwells and inner sills. Some of the cooler additional touches of this spectacular vintage Jaguar include a three-spoke wood-rimmed steering wheel in addition to Simpson latch-and-link lap belts.
