Strawberry Glow Smoothie

This smoothie is inspired by Hailey Bieber’s popular skincare smoothie, but Dr. Chelsea has substituted some of the hard-to-find ingredients with more accessible whole food alternatives.

Why does it work?

•Strawberries: a natural source of salicylic acid that aids in skin exfoliation and reduces inflammation and acne. They are also rich in vitamin C, which supports collagen synthesis.

•Collagen: helps maintain skin structure

•Avocado: a great source of healthy fats for glowing skin. Studies have shown that avocados can accelerate skin wound healing and improve skin elasticity, tone, and firmness.

•Pomegranate juice: one of the richest sources of antioxidants on the planet. Antioxidants protect the skin from the effects of oxidative stress.
