Lamborghini has charted out its product plan for the next 10 years. It’s no surprise that the iconic supercar maker is finally moving towards plug-in hybrids and eventually to electric cars.

Lamborghini will transition to plug-in hybrid models with the launch of the first series-production hybrid supercar in 2023. Besides its supercar range, the Urus SUV will also get a plug-in hybrid powertrain.

Lamborghini’s first all-electric 2-door GT will arrive before the end of this decade, marking the beginning of a new chapter in the brand’s story.

However, they’re not ready to dump the V10s and V12s just yet.

The supercar maker will launch two new cars in 2021. “This phase will be characterized by the development of combustion engines for versions that pay homage to the brand’s glorious history and iconic products past and present.”

We believe we might have a good idea of what’s in store – First up, there’s the Countach Homage which will be a tribute to the iconic supercar from the 70s. And finally, we can expect to see the “final Aventador” by the end of this year.
