We love a good quality, adventure-ready vehicle with a vintage vibe here at The Status Life which is why you won’t be surprised to hear that we’ve fallen hard for this Coyote-Powered 1966 Ford Bronco that is going up for sale with the guys at Bring A Trailer. It is powered by a 5.0-litre Coyote V8 engine that has been paired with a six-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case and is finished in green over green vinyl and patterned cloth upholstery.

This Coyote-Powered 1966 Ford Bronco was acquired by the current owner in December 2016 and subsequently refurbished with work that includes replacing the doors, fenders, and hood, repainting the body, installing the engine and transmission, lifting the suspension and retrimming the interior to name but a few. Some of the stand out equipment includes 15″ steel wheels, Wilwood front disc brakes, Bilstein shocks, a black roll cage, fender flares, a locking center console, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, and Dakota Digital gauges. This Bronco is offered with refurbishment records and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

The quarter panels have been expertly repaired and the doors, fenders, and hood were replaced before the body was repainted in its current shade of Subaru Wilderness Green as part of a refurbishment completed in May 2022. This gives this awesome Bronco a real wilderness vibe that we’re digging here at The Status Life. Features include a black roll cage, black-finished bumpers, fender flares, aftermarket headlights, and a single exit exhaust behind the right rear wheel.

Black 15″ steel wheels wear 33×12.5″ BFGoodrich KO2 All-Terrain tires for this supremely cool Coyote Powered 1966 Ford Bronco from Bring A Trailer, which has attracted a current bid of $56k with a matter of hours left on the auction so move fast if you want to secure this one. The front axle is equipped with Warn manually-locking hubs, and braking is handled by power-assisted Wilwood front disc brakes along with rear drums, and a Wilwood master cylinder. The truck rides on a lifted suspension with Bilstein shocks.

The cabin boasts front bucket seats retrimmed in green marine vinyl with dexter-style striped cloth inserts for an old school cool aesthetic it’s impossible not to love. Stainless-steel door panel inserts are installed, and additional equipment includes a body-coloured dashboard, textured floor liner, locking center console, cup holders, manually-operated windows, and floor-mounted gear and twin-stick transfer case controls.
