Do you ever feel pulled in so many directions that it becomes hard to feel grounded or whole?
Alexandra Novozhylova, known to many as Sasha, has devoted her work to helping people rediscover balance and connection through the Golden Age Movement in Eastern Europe.
Known for her work as a certified Deeksha giver, Sasha focuses on helping people awaken spiritually, heal emotionally, and connect with their higher selves. Through her teachings and practices, she has inspired thousands across her region and the world.
Embracing Awakening
Sasha’s teachings center on unity, interconnectedness, and the process of spiritual awakening. She describes awakening in her own words, offering profound insights into the nature of self and resistance. “The one who resists this discomfort… this is me,” Sasha explains. “The one who wants to change what is happening now… this is me. Behind this is a sense of self-importance.”
She emphasizes the futility of resistance, noting that it only strengthens the “small me”—the ego. “The more you resist and try to live through this discomfort faster, the more this I will support itself. It is such a game. To see what is—this is also sadhana, but it also does not lead to awakening. Awakening must happen.”
Sasha’s perspective highlights the transformative power of surrender. “With awakening, nothing changes. Resistance simply goes away. The one who resists leaves. Because of this, everything that already is acquires colors. It is filled with life.”
Sasha’s Transformative Approach to Spiritual Growth
Sasha leads the Golden Age Movement in Eastern Europe, a global community devoted to spiritual growth and emotional healing. Her teachings draw from a wide range of spiritual traditions, offering a message that resonates across cultural boundaries. One of the most powerful elements of her work lies in her emphasis on compassion, unity, and the application of the Golden Rule.
The Golden Rule serves as the cornerstone of Sasha’s teachings, guiding individuals toward a more connected and fulfilling life. Rooted in the timeless wisdom of countless spiritual traditions, the Golden Rule is a principle that encourages individuals to treat others the way they themselves wish to be treated. This simple yet profound teaching exists in virtually every religion and spiritual philosophy, making it a universal truth.
Exploring Deeksha
A central part of Sasha’s work involves Deeksha, a sacred energy transmission. It helps dissolve the mental and emotional barriers that keep people from experiencing peace and higher states of awareness. Participants describe Deeksha as deeply transformative.
Sasha often explains the experience with a sense of wonder. “The mind is not mine, the thoughts are not mine, life is not mine. There is no one who owns this life. The very possibility of participating in this life, the feeling of it, it’s a miracle, because it’s not mine.” Through Deeksha, people begin to let go of resistance and move into a state of flow.
Divine Light Meditation
Another cornerstone of Sasha’s teachings is Divine Light Meditation. This practice, introduced by Sri Amma and Sri Bhagavan, connects people to their higher selves and provides profound spiritual experiences. Sasha was the first in the Eastern Europe to offer this meditation, making it accessible to thousands.
Divine Light Meditation does not require prior experience. It takes only a few minutes but often leaves participants with lasting effects. People frequently report heightened awareness, inner peace, and a sense of connection to the Divine.
On May 13, Sasha hosted an online Divine Light Meditation during the activation of the first Kalki temple. This event marked a historic moment, fulfilling an ancient prophecy. Sasha has also led live meditations in cities like Moscow and Yekaterinburg, combining guided contemplation, Deeksha transmission, and meditation.
Creating Transformative Spaces
Sasha’s seminars offer more than intellectual understanding. Events like the live Meditation of Divine Light seminar in Yekaterinburg invite participants to step into a lived experience of spirituality. Through practices and direct energy transmissions, Sasha creates spaces for people to access deeper dimensions of reality.
Awakening, she teaches, is not something people achieve through effort. “Awakening is something that can be granted. It is impossible to do anything from within,” Sasha explains. Her events guide people to open themselves to this realization.
Personalized Guidance for Lasting Change
Sasha also provides one-on-one coaching to help individuals navigate emotional struggles and life challenges. These sessions address issues like past trauma, relationship difficulties, and mental health concerns.
Clients often share how Sasha’s guidance has transformed their lives. Many describe feeling lighter, more aligned with their purpose, and at peace. Her tailored approach ensures her guidance meets the unique needs of each individual, making the process personal and impactful.
Overcoming Unique Challenges
Operating in Russia brings its own set of difficulties. Restrictions often limit public events, so Sasha has adapted by using digital platforms to connect with people worldwide.
Through online sessions, Sasha extends her reach far beyond her region, bringing her message of awakening and peace to a global audience.
A Life Rooted in Compassion
Sasha’s dedication to helping others comes from her own life experiences. Born on July 31, 1978, in Ekaterinburg, Russia, she grew up in Kharkiv and Kyiv during the post-Soviet era. Financial challenges shaped her childhood, with her mother working tirelessly to support the family.
As a teenager, Sasha found success in the fashion industry. By 17, she modeled for top agencies like Wilhelmina and Ford Models and became a finalist in the Best Model of Ukraine 1996 competition. Despite the glamour, she felt unfulfilled and began searching for deeper meaning.
This search led Sasha to pursue higher education in philosophy, sociology, psychology, and journalism. She studied at institutions like King’s College in London and the Higher School of Economics in Moscow. In 2022, she earned a degree in practical psychology and coaching from the Moscow Institute of Psychoanalysis.
Her spiritual path began in 2010 when she attended Oneness University in India. Experiencing Deeksha for the first time brought her profound peace and clarity. This pivotal moment inspired her to dedicate herself to guiding others on their spiritual path.
Between 2006 and 2010, Sasha organized initiatives to help the homeless, support families with children battling cancer, and promote environmental awareness. She views charity as a natural expression of compassion and an extension of her spiritual mission.
Inspiring a Global Community
Today, Sasha continues to inspire people worldwide through her teachings and leadership. The Golden Age Movement has grown into a global community united by shared values of love and transformation.
Her work brings together emotional, physical, and spiritual healing. Sasha believes individual healing contributes to creating a more compassionate world. She encourages people to embrace their potential and recognize the interconnectedness of all life.
